The Kootenay Combo is our version of a touring "taster". You get two back-to-back guided days at two different location (Whitewater Ski Resort backcountry and Kootenay Pass) over the course of a weekend. We will take you where you need to go. It's the best way to show you our amazing backyard for a weekend. Bonus: you will meet new people to tour with!
New to Ski or Splitboarding? We've been there too... In this one day guided trip, we will show you the ropes of backcountry touring. From gearing you up with your equipment to transitioning at the top of the mountain, you will get all the insider tips from our highly experienced guides. We are passionate about what we do and are eager to get you hooked.

The Wapta Traverse is a 4 days, high level hut based ski and splitboard traverse north of the ski town of Lake Louise, Alberta.This is a high mountain trip in variable ski conditions ranging from powder to wind slab, to crust. We will also cover glacier skills and beginner crevasse rescue skills.
Requirement: - Participants need to be at least strong intermediate downhill skiers or splitboarders. Skiing is done with your backpack on through variable conditions. - You need to be in good physical condition, able to climb approx 800 vertical meters and do 12km in a day with a 40-50lbs pack and do this for multiple days.
